Bio-logic's PC-based otoacoustic emissions (OAE) system offers the ultimate in flexibility. Connect the Scout Sport hand-held unit to a computer, load the Scout software and begin testing. As small as a videotape, the Scout Sport can be easily carried from one computer to another to test in different locations. Or, if your office based computers are in high demand, use the Scout Sport with a notebook computer to create an independent portable system. Combine EP and OAE capability on one system.

AuDX Plus combines the easy functionality of the hand-held AuDX II with the power of the Scout Sport computer-based system. When the system is connected to a computer that has the Scout Sport software installed, it has all of the capability of Scout Sport. Detach it from the computer and it becomes the hand-held unit that can be transported to the patient's bedside. It has increased memory for retaining three protocols and AuDX Link capability to download data to the computer for viewing DPgrams and printing reports. The other AuDX II options are also available including upgraded memory for 100 tests and compatibility with HATS or other commercially available universal newborn hearing screening data management tools*. Because the AuDX Plus embodies all of the functionality of a screening unit as well as a full diagnostic system, it is well suited for users who want to satisfy both needs with one system. And the added functionality of AuDX Plus comes at relatively little increased cost when compared to purchasing two separate units, one for screening and one for clinical diagnostic use.

With Madsen’s new Capella, you can combine otoacoustic emissions (OAE) testing, screening tympanometry and infant hearing screening in the same Windows™-based system. In fact, Capella is the only system to offer both OAE and middle-ear diagnostics.

Because Capella is software-based and modular, you can choose only those testing options you require now and add more later. Each testing mode is offered as a separate application module in the form of software and accessories.

The following application modules can be freely combined to suit your individual requirements: Distortion Product OAE, Transient Evoked OAE, Screening Tympanometry, and Echo-Screen™ TEOAE screening. Both OAE modules include a mode for measurement of Spontaneous OAE’s. Echo-Screen is Madsen’s handheld OAE screener.
